Bulk Sak International is an innovative leader in creating better solutions for businesses by designing, testing, and manufacturing quality Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC's). Beginning as a privately owned US production facility, Bulk Sak International soon earned a reputation for industry driven innovation in the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, agricultural, chemical, plastics and mineral industries.
Bulk Sak International was founded in 1989 as Bulk Sak, Inc. Initially the company was most widely known for serving the needs of industrial and agricultural applications. By the mid 1990's Bulk Sak saw a need for clean, contaminate free packaging in the pharmaceutical and food grade industries. The company met and passed the standards set forth by the American Institute of Baking (AIB) and became the first FIBC manufacturer of true food grade bags with the highest rating possible from AIB.
Dedicated to the growing demands and changes of their customers, Bulk Sak established overseas partnerships in China in 1997. Continuing to expand strategically in order to offer their customers the finest in innovation, quality and service the company tripled its domestic manufacturing capacity and entered into a partnership with Indonesia by 1999.
2006 became a milestone year of growth and trends as David Whitt former National Account Manager of Smurfit-Stone FIBC group joined the company as National Sales Manager. Later that year, with an impending plan for growth at hand the company re-organized. Grant Patterson, Vice President of Bulk Sak, Inc, partnered with Whitt to buy the company and form the newly organized Bulk Sak International.
Today Bulk Sak International continues to develop long term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers who are committed to quality, customer service, technical leadership and innovation. In addition to FIBC's Bulk Sak International offers a diverse line of BOPP, container liners, and transit protection products.
